Maria Sikoutris Di Iorio, MA, Ed.S., LPC is a licensed professional counselor and marriage and family therapist, graduate of Seton Hall University with a Post Master's as an Educational Specialist and Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Ms. Sikoutris-DiIorio has been counseling with individuals, families and couples for over seventeen years. She is a member of the National Council of Self Esteem, New Jersey Counseling Association and Marriage and Family Therapy Association. She has been certified in Behavioral Systems Theory from the Multicultural Family Institute studying under the direction of Dr. Monica McGoldrick and a team of professionals. Currently, Ms. Sikoutris-Di Iorio is working with The Georgetown Family Center in Washington, DC., and The Princeton Family Center, Princeton, NJ coaching on a weekly basis and participating in their training programs for further study and supervision in Bowen Family Systems Theory. Ms. Sikoutris-Di Iorio also teaches at the Rutgers School of Social Work.
Ms. Sikoutris-DiIorio’s private practice in Scotch Plains is available to clients day, evening and weekend hours. In addition, she has been treating individuals, families and children in The Mount Carmel Guild Behavioral Health Care System intensive out-patient department in Newark, New Jersey. She has extensive experience in working with individuals with addictions and has over four years of experience counseling halfway house prisoners in Talbot Hall and Delaney Hall correctional centers. Ms. Sikoutris-Di Iorio specializes in working with couples dealing with issues of conflict and specializes in marriage and family therapy. She has been helping couples improve communication, resolve conflict and deal with issues of infidelity. Oftentimes she will meet with the entire family if necessary in order to assess the role of each family member and will make the proper recommendations.
In addition, Ms. Sikoutris-DiIorio has presented numerous workshops for the Elizabeth Court House on parents experiencing divorce (protecting the children), parenting workshops, and building self esteem. Ms. Sikoutris DiIorio has extensive experience working with the Juvenile Conference Committee and was Court Appointed Advocate for Union County interacting with Division of Youth and Family Services, Catholic Charities and foster care.
She is the past Owner and Director of The Westfield Diet Plan. A program that believes it’s not what you are eating, but rather what is eating you. She focuses on building women’s self esteem and self image and counsels on food addictions/eating disorders.
As a group facilitator, she has delivered programs such as: self esteem, assertiveness, stress management, 12 step programs, addictions and recovery, parenting workshops, anger management, improving communication, resolving conflicts and infidelity. She has also appeared as a guest speaker on Comcast Television promoting women’s self esteem issues.
Regina Stanley is a licensed marriage and family therapist. She received her Master’s degree in psychological services and professional diploma in marriage and family therapy from Kean University. Regina also serves on the Board for the Central Chapter of New Jersey Marriage and Family Therapists.
In therapy Regina creates a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment to support those working through a variety of issues. Some of her main areas of focus include relationship conflicts, parenting issues, anxiety, and eating disorders. Regina incorporates a combination of both mindfulness practice and cognitive behavioral therapy when treating anxiety to help individuals develop strategies for self soothing while learning to understand the triggers for their anxiety symptoms. Regina brings years of both personal and professional experience when working with eating disorders and body image issues. When necessary, Regina will encourage coordination with nutritionists for greater success. When working with children, Regina incorporates both art and play to allow children to fully express themselves in a non threatening environment. Regina works with children however will meet with parents regularly regarding their child’s progress and also schedule to meet with other family members if appropriate.
Regina has extensive experience in working with couples and specializes in marital and family issues. Couples are treated together and individually … an approach unique to Hellenic Therapy Center. When couples are treated individually, all information is held in complete confidentiality. This approach allows the therapist to understand each member separately and together as a couple.
Regina also works at Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care Employee Assistance and Student Wellness Program providing professional counseling and related therapy services to individuals, couples, families, children, and groups.

Erica Weber is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of New Jersey and New York. She received a Master’s degree in clinical social work from Hunter College, with a specialization in the Mental Health/Health field, majoring in work with Individuals, Couples and Families. She treats clients of all ages, including children and adolescents, as well as adults. Erica specializes in working with individuals dealing with stress and anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and confidence, family and relationship related issues, and work, social and new stage of life stressors.
Erica believes that therapy is a way of better understanding one’s feelings, thoughts and actions, allowing them to elicit change and to become the best version of themselves. She strives to create a safe and supportive environment helping to make this possible. Her treatment approach focuses on the specific individual or couple and their own set of unique needs. Your work together may include aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive and strengths based therapy. The incorporation of mindfulness and meditative techniques also promotes reduced stress and increased enjoyment in daily life.
In couple’s work at the Hellenic Therapy Center, Erica will work with a couple both together and individually, as to achieve optimal growth and progress within the relationship. When working with children and adolescents, Erica also meets with the child’s parents on a consistent basis, as to achieve the best results for the given situation.

Elizabeth is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The College of New Jersey, with special coursework on substance abuse treatment and marriage and family therapy. Additionally, Elizabeth is a member of the American Counseling Association and New Jersey Counseling Association.
Elizabeth treats individuals of all ages. She has experience in working with adolescents, children, adults, couples and families. She specializes in working with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, substance abuse, eating disorders, and stress management. Elizabeth also works with couples by treating them both together and individually, a treatment that is unique to Hellenic Therapy Center. She also has years of experience conducting group therapy that focuses on overcoming depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. In her groups, she teaches coping skills and provides psycho-education.

Rachel is a Licensed Clinical Social worker in the State of New Jersey. She received a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University, specializing in the mental health and medical health fields with a focus on working with Individuals, couples and families. Rachel works with individuals of all ages including toddlers and their families struggling with behavior management; to adolescents struggling with self-esteem, bullying, anxiety, family and interpersonal relationship issues; to adults coping with life transitions, work and family stressors, and relationship issues. Her experience also includes working with couples struggling to have positive and supportive relationships to families struggling to navigate through life while finding a balance that is supportive to all family members.
It is Rachel’s belief that all members play a significant role in the family; and therefore, will benefit from working together to strengthen and support the family system. Rachel utilizes aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy and supportive and strengths-based therapy with adolescents and adults. Rachel also implements family-systems therapy with couples and families. In couple’s work at the Hellenic Therapy Center, Rachel works with a couple both together and individually in order to maximize the growth and progress in the relationship. She utilizes play therapy techniques in working with children as young as five to work on social skills, anger management, anxiety, ADHD, and behavior management. When working with children and adolescents, Rachel feels it is important to meet with and include the parent(s)/guardian(s) in treatment in order to have the most consistent success.
