Amy Holland, MA, EdS, LAC
Amy is a Licensed Associate Counselor and earned her Master of Arts and Education Specialist degree in Professional Counseling from Seton Hall University. She cultivates a warm, compassionate, and trusting therapeutic rapport working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Amy will often work with a couple as well as work with them individually while maintaining full confidentiality. Amy has extensive experience working with families, working through divorce, separation, grief, and communication issues.
Navigating life’s ups and downs can be challenging at times, its impact can cause a multitude of stressors, confusion, and overwhelm. Amy offers a thoughtful collaborative therapeutic approach, implementing effective coping strategies and interventional tools drawn from a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Bowen Family Systems Theory base. Focusing on what will be most helpful for each client; Amy gathers insight, identifies strengths, and explores cognitive and behavioral patterns to address existing underlying concerns. She creates a confidential, accepting, and engaging environment where clients fine tune the skills necessary to meet their treatment goals.
Amy works with a culturally diverse clientele, assisting individuals and families who face various mental health struggles and life transitions including anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, and low self-esteem. Through her inherent empathic and authentic nature, Amy strives to support each client and improve their overall wellbeing. Illuminating a positive pathway forward for her clients remains at the heart of her work.
